Embodying Sacred Power Exchange: A 2 Day Immersive in the Art of Dominance and Submission

  • Sent upon registration Toronto (map)

Step into one of Toronto’s premier dungeon spaces where you’ll join a small group of couples on a 2-day exploration to learn about the art of conscious dominance and submission.

In this bright, luxurious, open concept suite, you’ll find yourself surrounded by quality toys of every kind, accompanied by the experienced facilitation of your guide, Monica, Sacred Sexuality and Embodiment Coach, and former professional Dominatrix.

For 4-hours each day, we’ll meet at the studio and dive deep into a variety of topics:

  • Your unique psychology as a dominant or submissive

  • Using energy, attention, body language and touch to enhance your polarity

  • Understanding the themes and flavours of different dom/sub archetypes

  • The intersections of Tantra and BDSM

  • Hands on skill building with toys

  • An opportunity to construct your own mini-scenes with your partner

This comprehensive workshop is designed for couples who are new to BDSM, or have some experience but wish to delve deeper in their understanding of power exchange.

This workshop is perfect for you if you:

  • Feel drawn to BDSM, but aren’t sure what you want or like

  • Would love for your partner to be more dominant, but they feel intimidated and unsure of themselves

  • Are trying to understand your partner’s kinky desires, but you both lack language and tools around it

  • Want to develop skill and proficiency in playing with power exchange, with or without toys

  • Desire more sexual polarity in your relationship

  • Want a deeper understanding of the different ways you can play with power exchange to enhance your intimacy and erotic charge

Over the course of two days, you’ll be guided through a series of reflections so you can get crystal clear about who you are as a dominant or submissive and how that persona wants to show up in play. You’ll learn about the styles of dominance and submission that really turn you on, and in the process, you’ll also discover the things that don’t work for you.

With this clarity and depth of understanding, you’ll be able to communicate to your partner your exact desires, and discover new ways of meeting one another in your play.

(A note on switching: Each couple will be invited to step into both roles with one another throughout our workshop. Even if you already know which side you lean toward, there is tremendous value in experiencing both sides. It will give you insight into your partner’s experience and deepen your understanding of the dynamic. )

Once we’ve identified your tendencies and preferences as a dominant/submissive, we’ll move into some experiential activities where you can begin to embody each role. This will begin without the use of toys, so you can learn the art of energy, body language and touch in communicating your intention. This is the foundation of a good scene.

Once you’ve mastered this, we’ll explore the various themes, or flavours, that form the foundation of different styles of power exchange. Each couple will have the opportunity to try on each theme, and discover how the conscious use of these principles can further enhance their play. We’ll also delve into the psychology of each theme, and what kinds of people might feel most drawn to each.

Finally, we’ll explore the realm of toys, where participants will develop basic skills around safety, and discover how to wield each toy with power, confidence and sensuality. Couples will have the opportunity to make use of the luxurious dungeon space to craft their own mini scenes, while receiving expert tips and guidance from the facilitator.

You’ll leave the workshop with:

  • A deeper understanding of your own kink psychology and desires

  • A shared language to discuss your fantasies and desires with your partner

  • Lots of fresh ideas for scene creation

  • More confidence in skillfully leading and navigating a scene

  • A toolkit of flavours and dynamics that you can keep developing and making your own

  • Knowledge of common kinky toys and how to use them
